This method will disable timeline for you only and your friends will still view your profile as facebook timeline.You can view their profile as normal old facebook profile type.

Steps:-
1)Download User agent switcher for your browser
For chrome :-https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/djflhoibgkdhkhhcedjiklpkjnoahfmg?hl=en-US&utm_source=chrome-ntp

For mozilla firefox :-
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/

2)Open your Browser
For Firefox :-
2.a) Click on tools >>USer agen switcher >> Click on internet explorer 7 .

For chrome
2.b)Just click on the mask type option given on the right side of the Addres bar and choose internet explorer 7.

3) Now just log in to your facebook account and you will see your old profile.
